Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish, half-English woman was born April 16, 1997 in Miami Florida. The girl is English, one-half Spanish. Her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. She is an Argentinean with Scottish, English and Argentinean heritage. Her mother is of Spanish and English origin. Taylor-Joy was born into a family with six kids. Four are her siblings from the previous marriage to Taylor's father. After living within Buenos Aires for six years, the family relocated to Victoria. Taylor-Joy says the move to London was traumatizing and she did not study English so that she could avoid returning to Argentina. Hill House became her school of choice after Taylor-Joy was required to switch schools. In the following years, she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. She quit the high school aged 16 in order to concentrate on her acting profession. Taylor-Joy was destined to be an actress at a young age. She realized her dream when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling job.
