Sheryl Underwood is an American comedian, host of a TV show and actress best known for hosting the popular daytime talk show The Talk. Sheryl Underwood was born and raised in Arkansas and grew up in Little Rock, Atwater, as well as Atwater. Sheryl has a family that has had many issues. She spent most her childhood looking after her sister Frankie. Frankie was a polio sufferer. As a teenager, she experienced many issues with her mother. Sheryl says that at one point her mother cut her dad because he got too close. Sheryl enlisted in the military after her college graduation. But her passion was comedy. She was the first woman to win the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. Her TV professional career started in 1992 when she was a guest actor on the HBO comedy series Def Comedy Jam. She hosted a show on television for the 2000 season of Oh Drama! Seit 2011, she is a cohost of the Talk show. Also, she's appeared as an unnamed character on programs like Bulworth Nicki as well as Beauty Shop.
