Dolly Parton escaped the struggles of her life early on through her imaginative and creative imagination. Her songs were written before she knew how to read and write. The first time she picked up a guitar was at age 8 and started performing on an Knoxville Tenn radio station at age 11. Gold Band Records is a small label that is independent. While in high school, she established herself in the community, but her dream was greater. In the exact day that she graduated high school, it was 1964. Her first charting hits on Monument Records included Dumb Blonde and Something Fishy both in 1967. Porter Wagoner's syndicated tv show needed an additional singer around the time. Parton was hired in the year 1966. She was signed to RCA Records in 1968, and the Grand Ole Opry was founded in 1969. In 1974, she quit The Wagoner's Show due to the popularity of her solo songs like Joshua Coats of Many Colors or Jolene was outstripping their joint releases. Parton recorded I Will Always Love You to Wagoner following their split. It made it to No. 1. for the first time in 1974.
